The Mommy Makeover: Getting Organized in the Gather & Grow Stage of Life (Age 25 – 40)

Have you recently gotten married or had a baby? Or perhaps you just had your second or third child? Do you feel overwhelmed by the amount of stuff that you’ve gathered through the last few years, from kitchen appliances to diapers and a billion teeny tiny onesies? If you’ve said yes to any of these questions, then you are in the Gather & Grow stage of life! It is a beautiful, chaotic and messy time of life and brings an enormous amount of clutter with it.  But don’t panic!  I am here to help you conquer your clutter and get and stay organized. The discussion will focus on 4 areas in your home and provide you with essential organizing solutions to make your life run more efficiently, saving you money, reducing stress and spending time doing the things that matter most to you! I mix humor, interesting facts and fantastic organizing ideas into the session. Time will fly by and you will walk away with motivation to start organizing in a whole new way!

Getting Organized in the Exist & Maintain Stage of Life (Age 40 -55)

Do you have children in middle school, high school or college with busy school activities as well as active social lives?  Do you have parents or friends who have begun to lean on you more to help them with doctors/appointments or running errands? Do you feel like you live in your car, shuttling kids/parents from one activity to the next with little time to make dinner, much less organize anything? If these questions resonate with you, then you are in the Exist & Maintain stage of life. This stage may find you with acquiring less things and looking for places to put items on a more permanent basis. In this discussion I will share tips on how to put in place essential organizing solutions to make your home a blissful oasis to come home to after a long day, providing you with a little less stress and a lot more efficiency. We also cover how to organize your home away from home, your car!

Getting Organized in the Downsizing & Legacy Stage of Life (Age 55+)

Has your last child gone off to college in the last year or two? Are you looking to move into a smaller home? Do you find yourself looking at items in your home and mentally making a list of who you would like to give those items to someday? Do you find that time has slowed down a little and you have time to spend enjoying your grandchildren? If yes, you are in the Downsizing and Legacy stage of life. This discussion looks at how to preserve your legacy, like organizing your photos, memorabilia, or children’s prized possessions that were left in attics, basements and bedrooms. Additionally, I also talk about tips for decluttering the main living areas to create spaces that are peaceful and serene.
